They later met again in Mirpur in 2015. The Man in Greens came to play a full series in Bangladesh. And it was seva who defeated Pakintan by 7 wickets. This gave Bangladesh a taste of victory in T20Is for the first time against the 2009 world champions. This was the fourth time the two teams met in Mirpur in 2016. The service was an Asia Cup match. Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in that match.

Bangladesh squad for the T20 series against hosts Pakistan has been announced. The much awaited squad was announced by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday (November 16).
Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar, the two batters in question, did not make it to the announced 16-member squad. Three senior cricketers Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim are also not in the squad.
Tamim and Shakib are among them who are unable to play in the T20 series due to injury. Mushfiqur, on the other hand, is at rest in view of the Test series.

Pakistan
Pakistan, who reached the semi-finals of the last T20 World Cup in the UAE, have come to Bangladesh with a full-strength team. Only veteran Mohammad Hafeez had already withdrawn himself from the tour.
